In order to construct a theoretical system of Confucian relationalism on the philosophical ground of constructive realism, the theoretical model of Face and Favor had been developed on the basis of realism, then the model was used to analyze the deep structure of Confucianism by the method of structuralism. Viewing from the perspective of methodological relationalism (Ho, 1998), both the deep structure of Confucianism and the model of Face and Favor can be regarded as microworlds for depicting how an actor interacts with persons in different relations; and the social world in one's awareness will constitute the differential order (Fei, 1948) or the psychosociogram (Hsu, 1971) he/she interacts with persons-in-relation in this way. When the actor gets involved in interpersonal conflicts in lifeworld, various models of conflict resolution might be adopted to restore one's psychosocial homeostasis.
