摘要

百科全書是知識的里程碑，體現人類知識的發展進程，具傳承文化和傳播知識的功能，維基百科則賦予百科全書新的定義和開啟新的編輯模式。本文從百科全書的發展歷程開始，分析現代不同觀點的百科全書的編輯模式及其品質，並就網路環境中，編輯全備的、專業的百科全書的重要性，提出結論。

Encyclopedias are milestones for collections of knowledge. They reflect the development of human knowledge, inherit culture heritage and disseminate knowledge. Wikipedia gives new definition to encyclopedias by allowing constant editing from various authors. This paper starts with the development of encyclopedias, then analyzes the different views of editing, and concludes with the importance of editing comprehensively and professional encyclopedias on the Internet.
