摘要

本文將針對《莊子》中論及兩難困境的相關材料進行討論，嘗試釐析《莊子》透過此議題進行了哪些有關處世哲學的思考。全文包括四個部分：第一部分首先分析兩難困境的背景，說明《莊子》對於人主要在世處境的解釋。第二部分則就《莊子》中所提出的諸般兩難困境進行分析。《莊子》所論及的兩難困境，除了涉及道德選擇上的兩難，更多地是側重於表現人生存層面的諸般困境，特別是那些左右為難、進退維谷的兩難處境。第三部分則就《莊子》有關兩難困境的因應之道作出討論，而這又分成兩部分：其一是不理想因應之道的提出與檢討；其二是最終理想因應之道的提出與所涵蘊的價值理想。第四部份則作出結論。

This article, depending on the analyses of the materials about life's dilemmas, tries to figure out the philosophy of living in Chuang-tzu. First, the article explains man's living situation revealed in Chuang-tzu through its descriptions about man's dilemmas in life. Furthermore, through the analyses of those dilemmas, we could discover that the dilemmas mentioned in Chuang-tzu include not only moral ones but more the crucial living ones, especially those about to be or not to be. In the third part, the article would discuss the solutions indicated in Chuang-tzu, which could be divided into two parts. One is the reflection about common reactions, and the other is the discussion about the ideal way in solution and the value implied in it. At last, the article would try to make a conclusion about Chuang-tzu's wisdom in dealing with life's dilemmas.
