摘要

抗生素管理已成為許多國家重視之議題，在台灣依循著六大策略，已推行多年，而美國、加拿大、英國、日本及印度的醫院在實施抗生素管理計畫（Antimicrobial Stewardship Program，ASP）後，對於醫療品質的提升、降低藥費的支出及減少多重抗藥性菌株的產生均有明顯的成效。抗生素管理計畫應持續進行，並搭配相關配套措施必能使其效益更加提升。

Antibiotic management has become an important issue in many countries. Antimicrobial Stewardship programs have been shown to enhance the quality of medical care, reduce medical costs, and decrease antimicrobial resistance rates in hospitals in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, and India. Antimicrobial Stewardship programs should be ongoing, and supportive strategies should be available to continue to make them more effective.
