保育人員對學前兒童發展檢核表之認知調查

A Research to Survey the Recognition of "Preschool Child Developmental Checklist" for Preschool Teachers

摘要


各縣市幼托園所的教保人員經常使用「學前兒童發展篩檢表」篩檢兒童的發展情形,因此本研究主要是調查保育人員對於「學前兒童發展篩檢表」的瞭解情形,包括瞭解檢核表的幼兒知能、施測技巧、態度,及瞭解在不同基本資料的差異情形。研究對象為彰化縣25所鄉(鎮、市)立托兒所的241位教保人員,回收率達到96.4%。研究結果發現:保育人員對幼兒「學前兒童發展篩檢表」發展知能、施測技巧瞭解程度皆未達到精熟水準,平均答對題數大約50%左右,顯示保育人員的嬰幼兒發展、施測技巧的專業知能仍然有待加強。有參加篩檢研習的分數低於未參加,但未達統計的顯著水準。在施測年資較短(0-7年)的保育人員操作PCDC工具的施測指導方式比施測年資較長(8-15年)的保育人員為佳。近54%的保育人員認為平常就需要為園所幼兒進行發展篩檢施測。77.1%保育人員會想要報名參加篩檢的培訓課程;專科以上學歷較高的保育人員比較有意願主動執行篩檢的活動,態度表現顯著較佳;對於「學前兒童發展檢核表」的問題解決方式,會選擇以「上網」及「問同事」的方式尋求解答較多。研究結論是保育人員對於嬰幼兒發展的專業知能是不足的,而有意願參加篩檢培訓課程比率是高的,特別是學歷較高的更有意願參加。篩檢施測年資是嬰幼兒發展專業知能、及施測指導方式的差異影響因素。

The preschool teachers often use ”preschool child development checklist” to screen the developmental delay for preschooler. The main purpose of this study is to understand the developmental knowledge, testing skills, attitude and affecting factors on knowledge, skills, attitude in using ”preschool child development checklist” for preschool teacher.The subjects in this study were 241 preschool teachers at the 25 townships of Changhua County. The rate of responding was 96.4%. The results of this study showed that the subjects in this study did not reach the master level of knowledge and testing skill. 50% correct responding in developmental knowledge of screen test. The knowledge in subjects to participate conference of ”preschool child development checklist” was not significant higher than the subjects not participant conference. The shorter (0-7) years of experience in screen test of preschool teachers had better guiding skills than the longer (8-15) years.54% of the preschool teacher had an opinion to execute the screening test in regularly. 77.1% the preschool teacher was will to enroll in screening courses of continue education; preschool teachers with higher educational background had significantly better attitude to implement screening test; the way to resolve the question about operation of screening test was to use internet and ask their colleagues.This study concluded that the preschool teachers were insufficient for the knowledge of early childhood development in generally, and willingness to participate in the screening training courses was high, particularly higher educational level of the preschool teachers more willingness to participate. The years of experience in screen test were main factor to affect the developmental knowledge and executive guideline of measurement.
