肇事者血液酒精濃度與交通事故特性相關分析

Association between Blood Alcohol Concentration of Perpetrators and Characteristics of Traffic Accidents

摘要


目的:分析97-101年台北市交通大隊委託檢測肇事者血液酒精濃度之相關探討。方法:本研究以回溯性方法蒐集本院區近五年之交通事故者血液酒精濃度檢測結果進行現況分析,檢體由台北市轄區各醫院急診室採血,經交通大隊員警確認身分並協助填具委託調查單後送本院區急診檢驗室核對簽收,急診檢驗室以自動乾式生化分析儀進行酒精濃度檢測,五年共計882件,分析其性別、年齡、季節與檢體收件時段之相關性。結果:血液酒精濃度>10mg/dl(參考值即>0.01%)共計314件約為35.6%,性別分析結果顯示男性件數遠大於女性且血液酒精濃度>10mg/dl者各為86.9%、13.1%,統計上有顯著差異(p<0.001),年齡層則以21-30歲(28.6%)所占比率最高且血液酒精濃度>10mg/dl者亦以21-30歲(29.3%)所占比率最高,四季之統計結果件數百分比及血清酒精濃度>10mg/dl百分比皆以冬天(26.6%、27.1%)稍多但統計上無顯著差異(p>0.05),檢體收件大夜班、白班、小夜班各時段之件數百分比分別為34.4%、34.0%、31.6%,夜間稍多,若以血液酒精濃度>10mg/dl件數中統計結果則分別為55.3%、20.8%、23.9%,顯示車禍事故發生率於三個時段差異不大,但因酒駕釀禍者於夜間件數則有明顯統計上差異(p<0.001)。結論:研究分析結果顯示酒駕肇事者仍以男性居多、21-30歲族群居高,夜間亦有較高之比率,落實教育宣導喝酒不開車是治本的重要課題。

Objective: Potential associations of the variables on alcohol level inquiry form and serum alcohol levels in perpetrators between 2008 and 2012 were examined in this study. The examinations were entrusted by the Traffic Division, Taipei City Police Department. Methods: We used automatic biochemical analyzer to detect alcohol level in the blood samples. A total of 882 samples were collected and measured in the 5-year period. The variables examined included gender, age, season and hospital work shift. Results: Three hundred and fourteen of the samples (35.6%) had an alcohol level >10mg/ dl (reference value>0.01%). Gender analysis showed a higher male ratio in the perpetrators (i.e., drunk drivers)(male vs. female: 86.9% vs. 13.1%, p<0.001). Most of the perpetrators with serum alcohol concentration> 10mg/dl (29.3%) were in the age group of 21-30 (28.6%). Accidents happened in winter more than in other seasons (26.6% of all accidents, and 27.1% of accidents in perpetrators with serum alcohol level >10mg/dl). The percentages of samples arrived at night [0am-8am], day [8am-4pm], and evening [4pm-12pm] shift were 34.4%, 34.0%, and 31.6%, while the percentages of samples with alcohol level > 10mg/dl arrived at the shifts were 55.3%, 20.8%, and 23.9% (p<0.001). The largest difference between groups was at night shift and this suggests that drunk driving was more likely to happen at night. Conclusion: We showed that the perpetrators of drunk driving were mostly males and aged between 21 to 30. Most drunk driving accidents happened at night. The implementation of education advocacy "do not drink and drive" is essential.
