Stability Analysis Using Multiple Environment Trials Data by Linear Regression

摘要


多重環境試驗的主要目的在於選拔穩定高產的品種,其中直線迴歸穩定性分析法是國內最常用來分析多重環境試驗資料的方式。本篇研究除了簡單回顧 Finlay and Wilkinson、Eberhart and Russell、Shukla等常用的直線迴歸穩定分析方式,也利用數例討論目前進行穩定性分析時常被忽略的步驟與問題,而本篇研究採用的 R程式將提供於附錄,供作未來育種者計算參考。

The objective of the multiple environment trials (MET) is to select the crop varieties with high yield stability in different locations. In Taiwan, the linear regression is still widely adopted to measure the stability of the yield for varieties involved in the trials. In this study, we briefly describe three major linear regression methods and propose the statistical workflow for conducting stability analyses using a field trial data. The R codes are also provided in the appendix for the convenience of the future usage.
