天台佛學與生態哲學

本文分為三節，分別闡明下列三點：1.釐清當前台灣佛教環保思想諍議的理論脈絡與根本問題。2.闡述天台佛學的心境並建哲學所蘊含的深度生態學。3.闡述跨文化觀點的生態哲學及其對佛教生態哲學的意義。首先，在第一節中，本文釐清當前台灣佛教環保思想關於「唯心環保」和「心境並建的環保」的諍議，闡明相關理論脈絡與根本問題的整體反思，本文就生態環保思想的四個環節的展開，來安排當前台灣佛教環保思想諍議的不同流派之理論位置。其次，在第二節中，本文闡明天台佛學的心境並建哲學所蘊含的深度生態學，分別就1.在形上批判方面，2.在意識型態的知識批判上，3.在生態價值觀上，來展開天台佛學的生態環保哲學的涵義。最後，在第三節中，本文因此從道家思想、日本京都學派哲學、德國哲學界與生態思想界，整理出與本文相關的許多論題，希望有助於當前台灣佛教環保思想的理論建構，建構跨文化溝通的生態環保哲學。

This article exposits the context of the argument of Buddhist ecology in Taiwan, constructs the discourse of deep ecology that is implied in the T'ien-t' ai Buddhism and tackles some topics of the ecophilosophy from the perspective of the intercultural communication between western ecology and Buddhist ecology.Environmental conservation and prevention is an important current in Taiwanese Buddhist practice. But in some critic of Taiwanese philosopher the Taiwanese Buddhist ecology lacks the valid foundation of ecophilosphy, because they assert a theory of ”only mind”. This article exposits the context of this argument and constructs the ecophilosophy of T'ien-t'ai Buddhism and reexamines some topics of the intercultural ecophilosophy in order to responses this challenge.
