佛教中道觀的根源義、普遍義與終極義-從印順導師的觀點進入

Analysis of the Original, General and Ultimate Meanings of the Middle Path: Approaches from Ven. Yin-shun's Viewpoints

摘要


佛法中道觀在龍樹「八不中道」的引領之下,經由「緣起性空」本具之根源義與普遍義,以迄真常系之大乘思想;其間,此一中道之思想已然出現觀念與理論的諸多轉折、分歧與綜攝之歷程。如今,經由印順導師以「成佛之道」為義理脈絡之主軸,展開其足以攝小向大、賅末還本的全向度的探索與闡發,佛法中道觀終於有了通貫一切佛理之真實而整全之意涵,而中道、中道觀之為佛教倫理之普遍原理、通貫原理、終極原理與實踐原理,乃得以全面地被證成。

The Buddhist doctrine of the middle path under the guidance of Nargajuna's ”eight negations of the middle way” went through the fundamental and general meanings rooted in the notions of ”dependent co-arising and emptiness” and evolved within the discourses of the Mahayana ideas about the absolute mind. Throughout the process, the ideas and theories about the middle path have gone through various turns, divergence, and syncretism. Today, ”the way to Buddahood” expounded by Venerable Yi-Shun” serves as an ideological axis to develop and elucidate the dharmas. The middle path view can finally be approached with genuine and comprehensive meanings that can integrate all Buddha dharma. Hence, the middle path and the viewpoint of the middle path are thus justified as the general, universal, ultimate, and practical principles of Buddhist Ethics.
