大學合球績優運動員無動機之研究

A Study of Amotivation in Elite College Korfball Players

摘要


目的:為探討造成大學合球績優運動員無動機之原因。方法:第一階段為篩選無動機大學合球績優學生,招募參與者23人,使用運動動機量表,以無動機平均得分大於5分;內在動機與認同調節平均小於3.5分為篩選依據,共篩選出2人;第二階段對此兩位無動機學生運動員進行二次30-60分鐘的訪談和一次資料確認,訪談結束後將錄音檔謄為逐字稿,以主題分析法進行資料分析。結果:大學合球績優學生的運動動機是一動態的歷程,造成無動機的原因為能力信念、角色衝突、目的觀點和環境因素。結論:研究結果顯示動機是動態的,中學階段教練在運動員的動機轉變中也扮演著重要角色,為維持大學合球績優學生運動員的動機水準,必須從中學階段來加以著手,制定相關的介入或諮詢課程。

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the reasons causing amotivation in elite college korfball players. Method: The first phase was to screen those individuals who had amotivation in korfball from 23 college korfball players using the Sport Motivation Scale. The criteria were based on the average score of amotivation that was more than 5 points, and that of intrinsic motivation and identified regulation less than 3.5 points. The second phase was to interview two players who had high amotivation in korfball sport. The interviews were conducted twice for each participant, each for 30-60 minutes. Audio recorded files were transfer to the transcript for further thematic analyses. Results: The changes of motivation among elite college korfball players were a dynamic process. The causes of high amotivation for student-athletes might be derived from lower competence beliefs, higher role conflict, varied goal setting, and environmental factors. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that the process of athletes' motivation changes is dynamic, where coaches play an important role in the early stage of athletes' sport career. Further, intervention strategies are recommended to offer to young athletes at their early development period for maintaining a high level of motivation over their athletic career.
