利用生物氣膠採樣器初步瞭解台中特定地點之夏季白天時大氣所含微生物種類及濃度之研究

A Summer Daytime Study of Airborne Microorganism Types and Concentrations in Taichung Using an Andersen Six-Stage Viable Sampler

摘要


懸浮微粒是造成台灣地區空氣品質不良的主因之一,而生物氣膠為懸浮微粒之一種。生物氣膠包括了懸浮在空氣中之生命體及那些經由生命體釋放至空氣中的粒子或揮發性氣體。當這些生物性物質或是其產物經由各種動力懸浮於空氣中,即已影響該地區的空氣品質;若是這些微粒粒徑小至可經呼吸道進入人體時,該地區人民的健康將受到威脅。故本研究希望於台中特定地點且夏季白天時,利用安德森六階式生物氣膠採樣器進行生物氣膠之採集,並初步瞭解夏季白天時不同地點中不同範圍(大小)之生物氣膠所含之微生物種類及濃度。研究結果顯示,94年6月30日~94年8月1日白天中,地點A-D經安德森六階式生物氣膠採樣器採集,且利用NA與R2A培養基培養48小時所得之微生物平均濃度分別為8.1×10^2 cfu/立方公尺、1.9×10^3 cfu/立方公尺、3.7×10^3 cfu/立方公尺及1.1×10^3 cfu/立方公尺與7.3×10^2 cfu/立方公尺、2.2×10^3 cfu/立方公尺、3.4×10^3 cfu/立方公尺及1.6×10^3 cfu/立方公尺。且培養時間愈長,微生物之平均濃度愈高。此外,五種採樣孔徑中,採樣孔徑介於0.34mm-0.71mm(採集得到之生物氣膠範圍為1.1~4.7μm)所採集培養出來之微生物數量最多。而A~D地點經採集、培養後所得之微生物種類包含短桿菌、桿菌、球菌及絲狀菌。

Suspended particles, of which bioaerosols are one type, constitute one of the main causes of poor air quality in Taiwan. Bioaerosols include allergens such as fungi, bacteria, actinomycetes, arthropods, and protozoa, as well as microbial products such as mycotoxins, endotoxins and glucans. When allergens and microbial products are suspended in the air, they adversely affect the local air quality. When the particle size is small enough to pass through the respiratory tract into the human body, the health of the local population is threatened. Therefore, this research attempted to understand the summer daytime airborne microorganism types and concentrations in Taichung, Taiwan by using an Andersen six-stage viable sampler. Bioaerosol samples were collected in the daytime between June 30 and August 1, 2005 at a place designated A-D. After sampling, the samples were cultivated in an NA or R2A culture medium for 48 hours. The average bacteria concentrations were 8.1×10^2 cfu/m^3, 1.9×10^3 cfu/m^3, 3.7×10^3 cfu/m^3, 1.1×10^3 cfu/m^3 and 7.3×10^2 cfu/m^3, 2.2×10^3 cfu/m^3, 3.4×10^3 cfu/m^3, 1.6×10^3 cfu/m^3, respectively. The cultivation time was longer and the average bacteria concentrations were higher for each particle size ranges. The number of strains after collection and cultivation should be the largest when the apertures of the sampler are situated between 0.34 mm-0.71 mm. The bioaerosols collected at place A-D contained rod-shaped bacteria, filamentous microorganism and coccus.
