摘要

休閒運動有別於其他的休閒活動，是運動與休閒的結合，從事運動性的休閒活動，不僅可以放鬆身心、忘卻煩惱、擺脫一成不變的生活型態，也兼具有娛樂、滿足成就感、社交功能、改善健康等諸多效果。因此，本研究將針對休閒運動的定義、種類、功能及參與阻礙因素作一探討，以期瞭解目前國內休閒運動之發展及其阻礙因素，並期盼國內民眾對於休閒運動之參與及政府相關單位於擬定休閒相關政策時有所助益。

Leisure sports, differentiated from other leisure activities, are the combination of leisure and sports. Doing these sports makes people not only obtain physical and spiritual relaxation, forget about worries, and free oneself from routine life. Moreover, its effects for recreation, self-achievement, social contact, and health improvement are also appreciable. Hence, this research aims to discuss the definitions, category, functions of leisure sports, and factors of obstacles, so as to retrieve the reasons for hampering the development of leisure sports in Taiwan for benefiting the citizens to participate these sports and departments related to leisure sports to make proper policies in the near future.
