從美國專利探討全球高爾夫球具產業之技術發展趨勢

摘要

本研究運用專利分析方法，從美國專利暨商標局建置的專利資料庫中，檢索高爾夫球具相關專利，並透過專利管理圖及專利技術圖的分析來掌握技術發展趨勢。從美國專利產出現況顯示，高爾夫球具產業的技術生命週期已進入成熟期；美國擁有其中近七成的專利數量，為本領域之技術領先國家。進一步運用專利技術圖分析發現，本領域之專利技術主要集中在「球具結構」上，並以「提升操控性」為主要功效。本研究結果可供全球市佔率高達八成的台灣高爾夫球具製造業者，作為研發創新與專利佈局上的參考依據。

This study uses patent analysis to explore the technological development trend of golf club industry. The patent data of this study are obtained from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Web Patent Databases. The analyzed result shows the technology life cycle of golf club has entered the mature stage. The United States which has the competitive advantages in the leading country level possesses around seventy percentages of the golf club patents. Upon further analysis through the patent technical charts, it shows that the main technological development is concentrated in the ”golf club structure”, and the main effect is ”controlling promotion”. The results of this study can provide reference resources for the development of domestic golf manufacturers which have eighty percentages global market share rate in their future R&D and patent portfolio strategies.
