刑事警察人員的社會賦閒現象-工作投入與團隊凝聚力的影響效果

A Research on Social Loafing Effect of Criminal Investigation Police Officers

摘要


受到「濫竽充數」話語的影響,「社會賦閒」常被視為負面的組織現象;如果將其定義為「工作團體中個人規避全力以赴行為傾向的程度」,就會顯得比較中性。本研究以「個人屬性」為控制變項,以「工作投入」和「團隊凝聚力」為自變項,以「社會賦閒」為依變項,以臺北市政府警察局所屬刑事偵查佐人員為對象,用問卷調查法來蒐集資料,探討各變項間的假設關係。研究發現:1.機關單位規模愈大,所屬人員的社會賦閒行為傾向愈明顯。2.資深人員之工作投入高於資淺人員;機關單位規模愈大,所屬人員的工作投入表現愈高。3.男性刑事人員之團隊凝聚力程度高於女性,資深人員的團隊凝聚力較資淺人員為高,機關單位規模愈大團隊凝聚力愈高。4.工作投入與社會賦閒兩者間有顯著的負相關。5.團隊凝聚力與社會賦閒兩者間並無顯著相關。

We used to take the phenomenon of social loafing as a negative term which means somebody holding back in a team effort. Maybe we should confront both the malfunctions and functions of social loafing effect for a good management, because it happened all the time and everywhere. This is a survey on the criminal investigation police officers of Taipei city government police department; we take "personal characteristics" as a control variable, "job involvement" and "team cohesion" as independent variables, "social loafing" as a dependent variable. Findings were: 1. The size of working unit which respondents belong to had statistically effects on the level of social loafing. 2. Respondents' seniority and working unit size had statistically effects on the level of job involvement. 3. Respondents' gender, age, seniority, education background, and working unit size had statistically effects on the level of team cohesion. 4. The negative relationship between job involvement and social loafing were statistically significant. 5. The negative relationship between team cohesion and social loafing were not statistically significant.
