從「開權顯實」論法華之妙

摘要

為何以「開權顯實」來論述《法華經》之特色？此乃筆者基於多年研究天台智者所詮釋《法華經》之心得，依《法華玄義》及《法華文句》之看法，整部《法華經》所處理的，不外乎權、實法之關係，且權、實本身並非對立的，而是即權即實之關係，故以開權顯實來發揮《法華經》之妙義。

Why did I illustrate the characteristics of the Lotus Sutra with its methodology of ＂display of the provisional and manifestation of the ultimate＂? It is the result of the author's long-year study on Master Chih-yi's interpretation of the Lotus Sutra. According to The Wonderous Meaning of the Lotus Sutra (Fa-hua Xuan-yi) and The Composition and Sentences of the Lotus Sutra (Fa-hua Wen-ju), the whole Lotus Sutra deals with only the relationship between the provisional and the ultimate which are actually not opposite but interpenetrated. In this light, the author elaborates on the wonderous meanings of the Lotus Sutra with its methodology of exposing the temporary teaching and revealing the real truth.
