技職校院幼保系學生人格類型與職業選擇之相關研究

A Study on the Relationship between the Personality Type and Occupation Selection for Students of Department of Child Care in Colleges of Science and Technology

摘要


本研究旨在探討技職校院幼保系學生人格類型與職業選擇之相關研究,使用自編之「技職校院幼保系學生人格類型及職業選擇調查表」為研究工具, 採分層隨機抽樣以1001位學生為研究對象進行調查。調查結果為:一、幼保系學生的人格類型以社會型特質得分最高,而傳統型特質得分最低二、幼保系學生的職業選擇以社會認知得分較高,而自我概念得分最低三、幼保系學生之個人背景變項中,以不同年級、家人是否從事幼保相關行業、父親教育程度及家庭月收入者在人格類型達顯著差異四、幼保系學生之個人背景變項中,以不同年級、工作或工讀經驗及家人是否從事幼保相關行業者在職業選擇上達顯著差異五、幼保系學生人格類型中以探究型及企業型等構面,對職業選擇的生涯動機及自我概念等構面有重要影響性。依據研究結果提出具體建議,提供學校教師與輔導人員之參考。

The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation between personality types and occupation selection. The researcher uses her own "Questionnaire of Personality Types and Occupation Selection for Students of the Department of Child Care in Colleges of Science and Technology" to collect data. The researcher uses stratified random sampling. The total number of samples is 1001 students who study in the department of child care in colleges of science and technology. The important conclusions as follows, 1. Among the score of students' personality types, "Social type" is the highest, and "Conventional type" is the lowest. 2. Among the score of student's occupation selection, "Social cognition" is the highest, and "Self-concept" is the lowest. 3. Among students' background, there is significant difference on personality types of students' grades, families who work in child and nursing industry, fathers' educational degrees, and monthly household income. 4. Among students' background, there is significant difference on occupation selection of students' grades, work or part-time employed experiences, and families who work in child and nursing industry. 5. Students' investigative type and enterprising type have important influence for career motivation and self-concept of occupation selection. According to the conclusions, the researcher proposes some suggestions which give teachers and counselors references.
