摘要


傳統上,患有中風或是凝肩症狀的患者往往需要復健科醫師、物理治療師或是訓練良好的職能治療師的幫忙來進行相關的復健醫療,然而由於全球節約醫療費用的趨勢之下,以及考慮到病患每日至院接受治療有其一定的難度,需要接受較長時間復健的患者將不易在醫院接受足夠的治療。在此,我們希望發展出一套可用於居家環境的復健式系統來幫助患者在家便可以進行復健醫療。 本研究當中,我們提出了一套影像式的肢體動作追蹤演算法,利用不同顏色的標籤物,附著在關節上,同時利用攝影機擷取動作的畫面,進而辨識肢體動作。此以居家環境為主的影像式復健系統必須擁有足夠的實用性以及合理的價格同時可達成即時處理的特性。 另一方面,其他的研究指出,利用虛擬實境在復健的指引上,已有部份的成果,但是昂貴且複雜的虛擬實境系統,使得它無法廣泛的應用,本研究當中,我們設計了一些簡易的虛擬動畫,例如虛擬目標物抓取的動作,以用來評估病患上肢的活動度,希望可將所得的數據提供給復健科醫師或復健治療師進行參考。

Traditionally patients who sustain a stroke or Frozen Shoulder take physiotherapy with the help of physiotherapists or well-trained carers to diagnose if they are doing the rehabilitation properly. However, because of the staffing shortages of the medical budgets and the need of a prolonged period of time for the rehabilitation exercise, patients are not receiving enough treatment. We propose to develop a visual tracking system to support the rehabilitation program for the patients at home environments so that the burden of hospitals and physiotherapists could be relieved. In this paper, we propose a color based tracking algorithm for capturing the motion of human body parts for home-based rehabilitation. Different color belts are attached to the body joints of interest and tracked in the video sequence. The home-based rehabilitation requires a visual-tracking system that should be cheap, accurate and nm in real time. On the other side, virtual reality (VR) has been used for rehabilitation in many studies. However, too expensive and complicated prohibits VR form widespread use in clinical rehabilitation program. In this paper, we try to design a reasonable cost and simple VR program, like visual targets reaching motion. We hope this program can evaluate patients’ upper extremity function via interactive procedure and the data can be an evaluation for the hospitals and physiotherapists.
