「汽車電子」是一項涉及汽車製造、電子、光電、通訊等技術的系統產品,當汽車加入電子控制系統輔助操作,而至今汽車更結合電子及資訊、通訊技術的發展,使得汽車更邁向未來性的高科技產品,就在汽車產業在年成長率逐漸停滯且強大的全球化競爭壓力之下,汽車廠商為求提高汽車產品的競爭力,加上電子化與科技化不斷地加速發展,使得車用電子產業目前已成為全球最受矚目的焦點產業,而Telematics又在電子產業中最受矚目。 本研究藉由全球Telematics 產業分析、成功服務廠商之分析與台灣Telematics環境,結合全球各地Telematics之趨勢,來探討Telematics產業的產業發展及特性,以質化研究的分析方式,再加上理論的輔助邏輯推演,欲深入探討以下幾個問題: 一、Telematics產業出現所帶來的產業變動範圍為何?以及其產業特 性為何? 二、成功的Telematics廠商營運模式為何? 三、台灣廠商在Telematics產業鏈中具有何種優勢?該如何發展? 目前,安全與保全仍為TSP業者服務首重之業務,且隨著硬體毛利下降,更增加消費者使用Telematics之人數,而當服務項目持續加,而使得TSP業者成為產業價值鏈中獲利最高之廠商,且目前已經成為大者恆大、寡佔局面。同時,Telematics服務業者具有地理區隔性,三大區域北美、歐洲、亞洲市場分別有各自服務的需求,而OnStar 與 ATX 分別從產業中不同地方切入,證明Telematics產業仍屬於變動不明之階段。 而對於台灣廠商而言,應短期間進行產品開發目標鎖定中低價位市場,發揮台灣之技術優勢,利用台灣GPS產業與LCD面版產業發之優勢。而長期間,與TSP業者合作,來提供非監控型服務,使得提供之服務具有彈性,不再因為地理環境而侷限住。而台灣唯一之Telematics服務TOBE藉由中國市場而來降低成本,達經濟規模之效用。
The automobile electronics is an systematic products related to such technology as electron, photo electricity, communication,etc.In automobile electronics industry, the sales of automobile have declined gradually in annual growth and under the strong globalization competition pressure, the automobile manufacturer, in order to improve the competitiveness, not only operate as manufacturers , but also do as a service provider though Telematics service.Therefore,Telematics is the most attractive in the electronics industry. Specifically, the present study tries to answer the following three questions: 1. How does Telematics industry change the traditional value chain? And what is the characteristic of Telemaitcs industry? 2. How to work as a successful Telematics service provider ? 3. What kind of advantages in Taiwan as Telematics providers and manufacturers? How to develop the strategy? This research concludes that the security and saving from damage is the major business in Telematics service provider, Meanwhile, the development of Telematics service has geographical district. North America, Europe and Asian market have a unique demand separately. As manufacturers in Taiwan should focus on the low price market with technological advantage of GPS and LCD in a short time.During long time, they should cooperate with TSP to make the service offered elasticity.And TOBE should lower costs through Chinese market to reach the economic scale
