口腔醫療服務連鎖經營平台商業模式的個案研究

摘要

口腔醫療服務連鎖經營模式，原是國內牙醫師面對產業變化與競爭、考量診所永續經營的主流經營模式之一。隨著兩岸的開放，加上兩岸經濟合作架構協議允許台灣的醫療服務業者投資大陸醫療服務市場，開啟兩岸醫界的交流互動，也讓台灣醫界在經營管理、醫務品質、教育訓練、服務品質、和醫師的醫療專業方面的優異能力，成為大陸業者希望合作的誘因；而大陸民營口腔醫療服務業者，更對口腔醫療服務診所連鎖經營的模式，深感興趣，這也激勵了台灣口腔醫療服務連鎖經營業者和大陸業者的合作動機。然而，連鎖商業模式過去運用於口腔醫療服務業，可說是成敗互見；因此，深入解析連鎖商業模式的成功關鍵因素，以做為廠商未來前往中國市場發展的參考，成為本研究核心的研究動機。
本研究針對台灣口腔醫療服務產業、醫療專科連鎖服務企業、和口腔醫療服務連鎖的龍頭企業，做深度的個案比較分析，歸納出影響專科醫療服務連鎖經營模式成功的關鍵因素，同時，也以一家新興起的口腔醫療連鎖服務體系的營運模式做為個案分析的基礎，檢視口腔醫療服務連鎖經營的可行性，並以價值網分析架構和多邊平台商業模式的探析，說明多邊服務平台商業模式在口腔醫療服務連鎖體系的可行性，並可以為醫療服務連鎖體系創造更高的價值，提供一個構建創新商業模式的機會場域。

Business model of stomatologic service clinic chain is one of the major strategies for professional dentists to respond to the increasingly competitive environment of medical services. This is particularly true as the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) was established which allows contenders of both sides of Taiwan Strait to invest capital and pursue growth opportunities in the area of medical services. As Taiwan’s stomatologic medical professions are relatively competitive in clinic operation management, medical quality, education and training, and service quality, China’s medical service companies are more than willing to create collaborative value with Taiwanese firms. However, is medical service clinic chain a dominant form of expansion? The previous cases in fact show a mixed result, an interesting issue which induces our research exploration on the feasibility and key successful factors of stomatologic service clinic chain.
Our study first reviews and researches the nature of medical service clinic chain and structure of stomatologic service industry, as well as some leading stomatologic service clinic chains, from which analyses key successful factors of medical service are concluded. We then explore the feasibility of applying platform-based business model in stomatogic medical service based on a case study on a recently emerged stomatologic medical service clinic chain. The platform-based business model can create more value for related communities of stomatologic service clinic chain and would be a potential direction for organizing successful medical service chain. Implications for business development and suggestions for future research are discussed.
