利用弱重力透鏡效應測量星系團內暗物質的質量分佈

摘要


因為星系在被觀測到時,光線會被宇宙裡的暗物質的重力透鏡效應影響而發生偏折,使星系的形狀產生改變。利用星系被形變的程度—其橢圓率的變化—來估算,所經過的暗物質的質量分佈。本論文研究弱重力透鏡所測得的暗物質質量的準確度,及尋天觀測暗物質的極限。

For the light rays are deflected by dark matter engendering the gravitational lensing effect in the universe, the galaxies become deformed as we observe. Utilizing the measure of distortion, the variation of its ellipticity, is capable to estimate the mass of dark matter clusters. In this work, we investigate the accuracy of halo mass measurement through weak gravitational lensing, and the lower bound of mass detection on the sky survey.
