臺灣鄉土教育方法之創新與運用─以巴克禮紀念公園為例

摘要


紀念性的公園,能夠引起人們群體的聯想和回憶具有歷史價值或文化遺蹟的物質性或抽象性,紀念公園對於社會論述中,可以形成一定程度的影響。同時,在社區裡的紀念公園,除了是學生或家人一起玩耍和休閒的場所,也是學生們在上、下學的路程上會經過的地方,但大部份人對紀念公園的歷史人文背景是陌生的,如何利用學生喜歡的學習場域,來增進對紀念公園設置之背後的歷史有所認識,提高學習興趣,並幫助對自己所生長的土地有所認識是教育者的責任與義務。本研究以巴克禮紀念公園為例,以公園內的場域資源來自行繪製戶外鄉土探索教育用的繪本,並以多媒體學習認知理論(Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, CTML)為原則,進行繪本中的數位延伸教材(歷史影音導覽)設計,將傳統紙本的鄉土繪本結合QR Code(Quick ResponseCode)圖像之數位化設計,來探討學生在戶外鄉土探索教育活動時的運用,從設計原則及教學者帶領學生以小組教學型式到戶外實地教學的過程,對數位化鄉土繪本進行學習分析及討論。由分析討論中可以發現,教學者對數位化的鄉土繪本設計皆符合數位設計之五個設計原則(易視性、導航性、簡易性、好的配對、侷限及回饋),且從分析中也發現學生的戶外鄉土探索發現學習是相當有趣且適用於群組學習的,學生會運用鄉土繪本內容裡的圖像和戶外教學場域實景相同的圖像相互連結的影音導覽,來有效幫助小組成員的討論及觀察紀錄。本研究結果說明教學者認為採用行動情境學習方式之鄉土繪本數位化設計能實際幫助學生和現實環境有效的結合,由自身和現實環境的體驗探索來增進閱讀理解,並找到問題解決的方式及建構自我對鄉土繪本內容的認知,達到對紀念公園設置的真正教育目的。

In this study, the ceremony Barker Memorial Park, for example, to field resources within the park from the line drawn explore local outdoor education with picture books, and multimedia learning cognitive theory (Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, CTML) principle and conduct of picture books digit extension materials (historical video tour) design, the traditional paper picture books combine native QR Code (Quick Response Code) digital image of the design, to explore the use of students to explore educational activities outdoors local time, the design principles and teaching from who led 176 students in small groups into the process of teaching the type of outdoor field of teaching, for digital analysis of the local picture books for learning and discussion. By analysis and discussion can be found, the instructor for several of the local picture books are designed to meet the five design principles of digital design (easy visibility, navigation, simplicity, good matching and limitations), and from the analysis also found that students Local outdoor discovery learning is quite interesting and applicable to group learning, students will use local content in the image of picture books and outdoor education field image of the same real interconnected audio tour, to effectively help the team members to discuss and observation records. The results of the study illustrate educators consider that the use of action situational learning styles of Native Illustrated digital design can actually help students and reality effective combination, by the experience of exploring the self and reality to enhance reading comprehension and find problem-solving approach and constructivism Self-awareness of local content of picture books, to achieve real educational purposes Memorial Park settings.
