網絡位置影響東亞地區貨櫃港埠競爭力之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討網絡位置對於東亞地區貨櫃港埠競爭力之影響,以網絡分析法(Network Analysis Method,NAM)為主要研究方法。網絡的觀點強調,個體的權力非僅源自其個體屬性,個體會因其在網絡中的鑲嵌位置而取得競爭優勢,網絡位置較接近中心的成員將因擁有較佳的網絡視野,而獲得較高的影響力;個體網絡位置接近中心性的情況可以程度中心、緊密中心、中介中心三者加以描述,中心性越高則網絡權力越大。 本研究首先以東亞地區港口與港口間的航次關係作為建構貨櫃港埠網絡之基礎,透過網絡分析法(NAM)衡量研究範圍內各貨櫃港埠之網絡位置中心性情況以評估各港口的競爭強度。此外,利用與港埠競爭力有關之港口屬性因子對港埠中心性分析結果進行單因子變異數分析(ANOVA),檢定應用網絡分析法於港埠競爭力研究之效能。 中心性分析結果發現:東亞地區網絡中心性表現最佳之港埠群依次為香港、新加坡、上海、釜山、鹽田、寧波、巴生、高雄、次灣、橫濱及丹絨巴拉帕斯,在可直接連接港口數目、與其他港口的連結速度及範圍、中介其他成對港口而為其轉貨利用的頻率上優於其他港口,為東亞地區最具軸心港發展競爭優勢之港埠群;其次,ANOVA分析結果顯示:港埠網絡位置對一港埠競爭力之高低會產生顯著性影響。

The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of network position on competitiveness of container ports in East Asia; the Network Analysis Method(NAM) is the primary methodology applied. The viewpoints of network theories stressed that the individual power not only comes from individual attributes, but also the embedded position in the network. Network members who are closer to network center will likely obtain better perspective, and consequently control higher power in the network. Degree Centrality、Closeness Centrality as well as Betweenness Centrality are three main ways for describing how network members approach the network center. Of this research, the foundation of network frame is constructed by voyage relationship among container ports in East Asia. Individual container port’s network centrality measured by the NAM to appraise competitive advantages. Furthermore, port attributes concerning port competitiveness utilized to examine the application potency of NAM in researching competitiveness of container port by means of ANOVA. The results of network centrality analysis reveal that Hong Kong、Singapore、Shanghai、Pusan、Yantain、Ningbo、Port kelang、Kaohsiung、Chiwan、Yokohama and Tanjung Pelepas are ports that hold highest network centrality;thereupon possess the best competitive advantages on developing as a container hub port in East Asia. Secondly,the consequences of ANOVA demonstrate that Individual container port’s competitive advantages distinct influenced by network position.
