This article not only give a new interpretation of Zhuangzi's aesthetic terms by Su Shih, but also try to connect with writing practices and self-cultivation. Five senses are turning points to know from experience, even more are indispensable parts of perception-subject unfold before one’s eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin on artistry. In short, writing practices by Su Shih should be taken as self-cultivation of aesthetics. The main issue could be divided into three sections to discuss, including landscape rediscovery, painting and calligraphy, tea and wine.
