「街巷空間的意義是什麼?混亂都市計畫下的街巷空間出現了怎樣的警訊?」研究者由這樣的思考點延伸出了各項台南舊街廓與人之間的探討,文中以伊塔羅.卡爾維諾(Italo Calvino)游移在真實與虛幻角度間描述城市的寫作方式,作為分析存在於城市中新舊物件的研究態度,企圖跳脫現今書寫城市的枯燥程序性與規律性;再借用法國文學家羅蘭.巴特(Roland Barthes)的符號學作為辨識城市面貌表現的研究工具,以達到解析城市符徵所欲表現的意義,使得全文可以朝多面向角度來探究街巷發展形式與生活者間的真正互動關係,更張顯出城市生活其實是與許多因素環環相扣的,並非完全可以由實體的建築成果所代表。 處於線性思考的我們,漠視整個現地經驗消失與既有空間產生質變的情況,這顯示出空間在設計之外並沒有真正關懷到整個城市的脈動;研究中長期所依賴的歷史與城市物件都只是一種具變動性的參考值,它所要告知的其實是更具深層意義的城市精神,計畫性的表面成效是無法完全解釋「非計畫性」所具有的影響因素;研究者所嘗試的是將碎片般的城市記憶與現有土地紋理,組織一個跳脫既有傳統觀念外新的城市漫遊經驗,最終目的無非是希冀常民可以藉此觀察出各種屬於這個城市的有趣現象及生命力。
By the thoughts of what Re-Minded Alley really means and what alert will arise around it under chaotic urban planning researcher extend discussion between aged blocks in Tainan and human beings. This thesis was based on the methods of Italo Calvino of representing real and abstract cities for that to be the constitution of research of analyzing new and aged objects in the city and avoid the procedure and regularity of describing cities nowadays.Semiology of Roland Barthes leads us to recognize city scenes and realize the meaning that city want to express, and it makes the thesis possible to discuss the truly interactivity between the development of streets and people lived there with multi-aspects, furthermore, it revealed city life indeed is related to many elements and couldn掐 be wholly substituted by corporeal architecture. We, with linear thinking, ignored the disappearance of the local experience of and change of space and it revealed that the consideration of city culture is not regarded.Historic data and city elements that research is long-term depended are both unsteadfast references and they actually account the deeper meanings of city loci.What 烢lanned affairs couldn掐 explain perfectly is those firmly effected 烋on-planned space.So that I want to try organizing a new experience of city roaming that is out of traditional construction with fragmentary city memory and land textures, and even for people to observe phenomenon and life energy that belong to the city at all.
