副品牌標誌分析研究及衍生創作─以奇美品牌為例

摘要


近年來,建立「品牌」已成各產業的重要行銷目標。而設計一個品牌標誌來代表品牌,並作為企業形象的識別,也是建立品牌的首要任務之一。若企業同時擁有多項產品線時,除了原品牌名,在不違背主品牌的核心概念及精神下,針對不同消費族群或不同的定位再創造一個新的品牌及標誌識別即謂之「副品牌」。 本研究將就CHIMEI品牌下的液晶電視產品做分析,在其主品牌下若欲發展一個全新針對高單價市場的副品牌時,其品牌標誌該如何呈現及運用。文中將以日系電視品牌之副品牌標誌做分析討論,並額外以最常出現副品牌形態之汽車產業做案例分析,研究主品牌與副品牌間的連結性及使用方式做為創作的參考依據。 依據研究指出,主品牌與副品牌之間的關係必須是一體的。副品牌必須能夠有效提升主品牌的知名度,以及加強主品牌的核心價值。而品牌是一個可識別的元素,可為消費者提供產品價值的參考,換句話說,也就是提供對產品的信賴感。 本研究將由最終分析結果,將該副品牌命名為GAIA,並在造形以及色彩的運用上做解釋,創作一組品牌標誌,進而為該標誌設定使用規範及定義應用方式,並說明與原CHIMEI主品牌的相互關係做為研究結論。

"Building Brands" has become the primary marketing objective for many industries in recent years. Creating a brand name and designing a logo is one of the first steps towards building a brand. When parent brand owns diverse product lines, building another brand under the umbrella positioning, while targeting different consumer audience and/or offers a modified positioning, it is considered building a subsidiary brand. This research will analyze LED TV monitor products under the CHIMEI brand. Study how to build a subsidiary brand under CHIMEI to target the higher end LED monitor users, and the application considerations of this sub brand. We have chosen to study successful Japanese TV monitor brands, as well as an example in automobile industry, as competitive references. The relationship between a parent brand and the subsidiary brand must be coherent . The sub-brand must be able to compliment the brand awareness of the parent brand, as well as strengthen the core value of the parent brand. A brand is a recognizable element that provides consumer a quality reference, in other words, a sense of reliability towards a product. Base on the studies and analysis, this research named the brand-GAIA, and will create a logo type, color system, its application logics and considerations, for a subsidiary brand under the CHIMEI parent brand.
