台灣地區高中職校長生態之研究

A Study on Principals’ Ecology of Senior and Vocational High Schools in Taiwan

摘要


本研究旨在分析台灣地區高中職校長生態之特性及其內涵,並對台灣地區高中職校長生態之現況作深入之探討,以調查目前台灣地區高中職校長對學校生態問題之看法,本研究之目的為: 一、瞭解高中職校長生態之現況、特性與內涵。 二、探討高中職校長生態之環境及其影響。 三、分析不同背景變項的校長對學校生態問題看法之差異情形。 四、根據研究結果,提出可供參考之建議。 本研究以問卷調查法及相關的統計分析法作為主要研究方法。首先在文獻分析上,主要用以探討生態之意涵、校長生態之特性與內涵、校長生態之環境及其影響,以及校長生態之永續發展等;其次,在問卷調查部分,則藉由「高中職校長生態之研究」調查問卷,並針對台灣地區501位任職於公私立高級中學、高級職業學校及特殊教育學校之校長進行問卷調查;最後,並運用SPSS 12.0版套裝軟體進行描述統計、卡方檢定、多項式logistic迴歸等統計方法進行分析。本研究共寄發出501份問卷,總計回收有效問卷280份,回收率為55.89%。 綜合文獻探討與實證研究分析之結果,針對教育行政機關、高中職校長以及後續研究者提出之建議如下: 一、對教育行政機關之建議 (一)在校長遴選方面,未來應著重性別、年齡、族群等的生態平衡。 (二)提供校長多元的在職進修管道,協助達到完善的專業成長。 (三)提供豐富的教育資源與環境,以促成校長生態的永續發展。 二、對高中職校長之建議 (一)校長應具備敏銳的知覺能力,瞭解學校內外部的生態變化,帶領學校組織進行變革。 (二)校長應瞭解教師組織的需求,並提供家長參與校務的機會,建構和諧的夥伴關係。 (三)校長應形塑學校發展願景,與成員共同追求學校的永續經營與發展。 三、對後續研究者之建議 可再進行深度訪談,持續對校長生態相關議題進行追蹤,並擴大研究範圍至其他學校層級。

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the major characteristic and contents of principals’ ecology of senior and vocational high schools in Taiwan and to understand its current state, so as to investigate their perceptions. The purposes of this study are shown as follows: 1. To understand the current state, characteristic and contents of principals’ ecology of senior and vocational high schools in Taiwan. 2. To probe the environment and influence of principals’ ecology in senior and vocational high schools. 3. To explore the different background variables affecting various kinds of principals’ ecology in senior and vocational high schools. 4. According to the results of data analysis, affording some suggestions for educational administration agency. The chief methods of this study are questionnaire investigation and relevant statistical methods. Firstly, the literature review aims to discuss the meaning of ecology, characteristic and contents of principals’ ecology and principals’ ecology and its influences. Secondly, in the part of investigation methods, through the questionnaire of principals’ ecology in senior and vocational high schools to investigate 501 private, public and special senior and vocational high schools principals in Taiwan. Finally, by using SPSS for Window 12.0, the author analyzes the data, such as descriptive statistics, Chi-Square Test, and Multinomial Logistic Regression. A total of 501 questionnaires were distributed to the schools and 280 valid questionnaires were collected with a return rate of 55.89%. 1. Suggestions to the educational administration agencies (1) In principal selecting system, we should think highly of ecological balance in gender, age, racial issues and so on. (2) To provide multiple in-service and training activities for principals to help to achieve the perfect professional growth. (3) To supply rich educational resources and the environment to contribute to the sustainable development of the principals’ ecology. 2. Suggestions to the principals of senior and vocational high schools (1) Principals should have a keen perception, understanding the inside and outside ecological changes of schools, and lead the school organization changes with the situation. (2) Principals should understand the needs of teachers and parents to participate in school provided the opportunity to build a harmonious partnership. (3) Principals should set up development vision, and pursuit the sustainable management and development with members. 3. Suggestion to the following researchers To further the in-depth interviews, continue to seek related ecological issues of principals and to expand the scope of the study to other school levels.
