在現今教育以學生學習為核心主流之下,學習品質已成為近年教育的重點發展目標,學生學習過程與學習成就儼然已成為在教學、評鑑、改革等各方面的重點主軸,因此相關學生學習議題之研究屢見不鮮;其中「學習投入」(student engagement)是學生獲得學習成功的關鍵,更是促進學生成才和提高教育品質的重要因素,所以學習投入是美國行之有年的研究主題,然而相對國內貧乏的相關研究,實有必要將之擴展於國內的教育研究。學習自我效能、學習投入與學習成就都是重要的學生學習議題,為此應有效整合相關研究與比較各研究結果之間的異同,明白過去的研究重點與成果,以開啟未來的研究方向。故而本研究採用後設分析法,對學習自我效能、學習投入與學習成就彼此之間的相關性進行分析探究。在綜合相關文獻分析討論以及後設分析的結果,本研究歸納出三點結論:一、學習投入是學生學習研究的趨勢,也是教育歷程中重要的中介因素;二、學習自我效能、學習投入與學習成就之間均具有相關性,然而彼此之間的相關受到其他因素之影響;三、華人國家在學習自我效能、學習投入與學習成就彼此之間的相關性可能較歐美國家為高。最後,本研究提出相關建議以改善學習與相關之研究。
Recently, quality of learning has become public concern. The process of student learning and academic achievement has become the focus of teaching, evaluation and reform. Among those factors that might impact on student learning, “student engagement” is key to success in learning. Numerous studies have sowed student engagement is an important factor to promote student talent and improve the quality of education. This study analyzes the correlation among academic self-efficacy, student engagement and academic achievement through meta analysis. According to the results of the comprehensive literature analysis and meta analysis, three conclusions are offered as follows: 1. student engagement is the trend of research in student learning and is also an important mediator in educational process; 2. the correlations exist among academic self-efficacy, student engagement and academic achievement, but they are influenced by other factors; 3. the correlations in Chinese students may be higher than European and the United States students. Finally, this study proposes some suggestions to improve student learning and research in future.
