被束縛的堅韌力量－一個新住民充權團體的歷程

本研究嘗試利用充權的觀點組織與規劃新住民團體，並從中探討哪些策略將有助於新住民充權，以及在使用充權策略時團體遭遇了哪些困境與採取的解決方法。研究者利用參與觀察法與半結構式訪談法收集資料，採用模版式分析進行資料分析。　　研究發現：一、新住民團體的充權內涵包含：與新住民的平權夥伴關係、與新住民不斷的對話與討論、讓新住民真正參與其中、團體帶領者的催化與支持。二、所遭遇的困境包含了：新住民過去鮮少有表達自我意見的機會、與新住民建立的關係是夥伴或是討好、在社會與社區面的充權不易。此外，在團體中，研究者亦採用了手作工藝、繪畫、料理烹飪等活動作為媒介，發現有助於引導新住民分享自身經驗。最後研究者根據研究的歷程與發現，針對新住民服務提出政策與實務建議以及未來研究的相關建議，以作為新住民實務工作的參考。

This study attempts to organize and plan for the marriage immigrant group based on the perspective of empowerment. The researcher discusses what kind of strategies may be helpful for marriage immigrant group to build up the ability of empowerment and increase the degree of autonomy and self-determination in people and in communities, what kind of obstacles may be encountered while applying empowerment strategy, and what kind of solutions can be utilized to solve problems. The researcher collected data via participant observation and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed data using template analysis. The research findings cover two dimensions. First, the content of empowerment of the marriage immigrant group includes building partnership in an equal position, continuously having communication and discussion with marriage immigrants to allow them actually involving in their groups, and having group leaders as catalyst and support. Second, the obstacles that may be encountered while applying empowerment strategy are marriage immigrants rarely having the opportunity to express for their views in the past, the failure of building partnership in an equal position resulting in an imbalance in the relationship engaging in pleasing behavior, and the difficulty of empowerment in society and community. Furthermore, researcher found that events, including craft making, drawing, and cooing, are beneficial for leading marriage immigrants to share their personal experiences in groups. In conclusion, based on these research findings, the researcher proposed strategies, practical suggestions, and other relevant suggestions for future research and projects related to marriage immigrants.
