從高齡志工教師的教學故事敘說中探究高齡者的教與學的圖像

摘要


本研究旨在從高齡志工教師的教學故事敘說中探究高齡者的教與學。研究目的有四: 一、瞭解高齡志工教師的教學動機,以及高齡志工教師工作中的成長收穫。 二、從高齡志工教師分享的教學故事中,瞭解高齡志工教師的教學服務圖像。其中包含高齡志工教師的教學動機、教學策略及教學收穫。 三、從高齡志工教師分享的教學故事,瞭解在高齡志工教師的觀察中,高齡學習者的學習圖像為何。其中包含高齡學習者的學習行為特徵、學習情境狀況及學習收穫。 四、從高齡志工教師分享的教學故事中,針對高齡學習的教與學的圖像給予具體的建議。 研究方法採用深度訪談法蒐集高齡志工教師的教學故事以作為研究分析資料,以樂齡學習中心推薦的五位年滿65歲,擔任志工教師連續達三年以上之高齡志工教師為訪談對象。本研究獲得的結論如下: 一、高齡志工教師的教學動機多重,與其服務社會的理想有密切的關係。 二、高齡學習者的學習行為特徵多重,以密切互動的學習夥伴關係為學習加值一項最為明顯。 三、高齡學習者的學習情境狀況多重,以心理因素引發的情境狀況為多。 四、高齡志工教師的教學策略是師生雙方經過長期間的學習合作,從學習夥伴關係中培養默契,而能對應狀況因材施教。 五、高齡學習者的學習收穫多重,以促進健康老化最為顯著。 六、高齡志工教師的教學收穫主要是在於學習成長增自信、人生智慧更圓熟,因此由收穫反饋成為更積極的教學志工行動。 最後,本研究根據上述研究結果,針對高齡者的教學與學習給予提出具體的建議。

The purpose of this study is to explore the teaching and learning of elderlies by the way of a narrative study on teaching stories of the elder volunteer teachers. It is hoped that this study can achieve the following goals. 1. The understanding of the elder volunteer teachers’ motivations and harvests on teaching. 2. The understanding of the elder volunteer teachers’ teaching strategies. 3. The understanding of the elder learners’ characteristics on learning, circumstances on learning, and harvests on learning. 4. The understanding of the suggestions regarding teaching and learning of elderlies. The research employed the in-depth interview approach. Two male and three female elder volunteer teachers recommended by The Senior Education Center were interviewed and shared their teaching stories. According to the research findings, conclusions were made respectively as follows. 1. The motivations of elder volunteer teachers’ teaching are multi-faceted, and closely linked to their ideals of social service. 2. The elder learners’ characteristics on learning are multi-faceted, and the close interaction of learners’ partner relationship is closely linked with them. 3. The elder learners’ circumstances on learning are multi-faceted, and closely linked to the initiation of psychological factors. 4. The elder volunteer teachers’ teaching strategies are based on well-coordinated understanding between elder learners and elder volunteer teachers. 5. The elder learners’ harvests on learning are relative to the promotion of healthy aging. 6. The elder volunteer teachers’ harvests on teaching are based on a optimistic and open-minded philosophy of life. Lastly, suggestions were made to the teaching and learning of elderlies based on the above study results.
