近年來職場上慢慢出現了一些很特別的新興族群,其中有一群人被稱為飛特族(Freeter),泛指年齡在15到34歲,沒有固定職業且從事非全日臨時性工作的年輕人。在日本的相關研究中指出,飛特族的人數迅速的在增加中,後續將會為整個社會甚至是國家所帶來的問題已不容大家忽視,但在台灣,飛特族的相關研究與討論非常稀少,這個族群的現況與變遷情形是我們所不瞭解的,因此希望能透過此研究讓大家對台灣飛特族之現況有更多的認識。 本研究採用量化的次級資料分析方法,透過政府所收集的調查資料,並運用分析所得的數據來瞭解台灣飛特族青年就業在2000年到2005年的演變,透過本研究,可作為政府相關單位未來在青年就業政策規劃方面之參考依據。本研究主要之研究目的有以下三點: 一、探討飛特族的數量與變遷趨勢(如符合飛特族操作性定義人數的變化) 二、探討飛特族的人口特徵(如性別、年齡、教育程度、科系) 三、探討飛特族的工作特徵(如工作地點、職業、從業身份、組織規模、工作地區) 研究發現,台灣飛特族在2000年至2005年間,整體人數的變化有逐漸在往下降的趨勢,而這群人的主要特徵為「年齡位在23-34之間的男性;學歷;職業屬於藍領階層;居住於北部,且任職於小組織規模公司的受雇員工」,由以上特徵可得知,台灣這群飛特族在社會上屬於弱勢族群,且是在非自願性的情況下被迫成為了這樣一個新興族群,而非是出自於個人的權益選擇。
Recently, the work place appear some special groups, one of them is called “Freeter”, which means 15 to 34 years old young people engaged in the part-time work instead of regular jobs. According to Japan's related research, Freeter's population increase rapidly and may cause serious problems for the society. But there are few related researches and discussions related to Freeter's in Taiwan. And we didn’t understand the situation of Freeter. Through this research, we want to present some aspects of Freeter in Taiwan. This research uses the secondary data analysis method, collects the investigation material by the government, and utilizing derived data to present status evolution of Freeter from 2000 to 2005 in Taiwan. We hope this research could be useful for following researches and for government police planning of youth employment. This research main research goal is: 1. Discussion Freeter’s quantity and change 2. Discussion Freeter’s population characteristic 3. Discussion Freeter's work characteristics We find that Taiwan Freeter’s population decrease gradually from 2000 to 2005. This group's feature are age “in 23-34, male; The school record belongs to the country high school (duty); low educational background; Lives in north, and works in the small scale company”, which shows Taiwan Freeter in the society is a disadvantaged minority, in the non-voluntary situation, not from individual rights and interests choice.
