Considering the distributed characteristics, virtual team members need to communicate each other with technologies and may need to make decision without face-to-face meeting. Therefore, using questionnaire-based data, this study examined the potential effects between trust, team autonomy, decision making process quality and team effectiveness. The result suggests that the decision making process quality is positive related to team effectiveness. Trust within team will help to enhance the team effectiveness and the decision making process quality which is as a mediator. Team autonomy is positive related with team effectiveness as well. However, the decision making process quality as a mediator is not support in this case.
