夏濟安與《文學雜誌》研究

摘要

《文學雜誌》誕生在政局動盪不安的五０年代，在官方推廣反共文藝風氣下，文學變成宣傳工具，且有八股死板的跡象。而在這種環境之下，《文學雜誌》以樸實、冷靜、理智的作風獨樹一格，反對文學的功能取向，而現代主義和自由主義兩種思潮，在《文學雜誌》中匯流。創辦人吳魯芹、夏濟安、劉守宜之中，最重要的靈魂人物便是身為主編的台大外文系教授夏濟安。本文由夏濟安的文學理念開始論述，其對文學的看法深深影響了《文學雜誌》的文學風格，再從當時政治社會與文壇了解外在環境概況，並分析創刊理念並描述刊物發展情形。《文學雜誌》的內容方面則分為兩章討論：文學創作以及文學理論，對於《文學雜誌》所刊登的文章作一整理分析，證明《文學雜誌》的重要性。《文學雜誌》譯介大量西方文學作品及理論，影響了《現代文學》、《中外文學》這一系列由學院人士發起的雜誌，它對於文壇之影響及成就，也是本文所要探討的。

Literary Review was born in a political situation turbulence uneasy of 1950s. Expanding anti-communist literature strategy, the literature becomes publicity tool, and has a prescribed-form evidence. Under this kind of environment, Literary Review with unambitious, calm , the rational style develop a style of one''s own, opposing a literary function mindset. The modernism and liberalism flow in Literary Review .In the founders（ Wu''s Lu Qin, Hsia Tsi-an, Liu Shou Yi）, the most important person is Hsia Tsi-an who is a professor of the NTU Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. This discourse begins from Hsia Tsi-an’s literature principle, and these viewpoint deeply influenced Literary Review. Describing the situation of politics, society and literary circles, and analyzed the principle of creating the magazine, and also describe the development situation. The content of Literary Review is divided into two chapters: Literature and literature theories. Analyzing the articles in Literary Review, and prove the importance of Literary Review. Literary Review translate a lot of western literature work and theories, and influences Modern Literature, Chung Wai Literary which are a series magazine started by academics. The influence and achievement of the literary circles, is also wanted by this discourse to treat of.
