摘要


郭松棻、李渝生長於台灣現代主義世代,兩人的創作甚早,在大學時代便有作品發表,直至七○年代因保釣運動的投入,兩人在寫作上才進入擱置。八○年代當兩人重新回歸文學領域,其創作才開始受到矚目,兩人在八○年代以後出產的作品,在形式上直達現代主義美學的極高標的,並且在內涵上又常寓有深刻國族身份的省思,作品在「詩性文字的魅力」與「歷史社會的寫實」之間取得一個相當恰當的媒和,是八○年代以後台灣現代小說十分值得注意的對象。 將兩人置於同一研究範圍,除了夫妻身份的關係以外,兩人在背景上各具戰後本省族群與外省族群的台北地方記憶(大稻埕、溫州街),七○年代以後兩人一同出國留學、經歷保釣運動與重回文學領域,以致在生活與創作討論上有更緊密的結合。表現在文本裡,從「學院派的特質」、「現代主義」、「左翼思想」、「流離經驗」、「歷史關懷」、「藝術美感」方面都可見其兩者的共通處。另外亦可在其中挖掘出兩人「同中有異」、「異中有同」的作家、作品特質。 此本論文主要內容分為三部分。第一部分從「作家的背景層面」作兩位作家的生平與思想的瞭解,並於「文壇」與「作家」之間,作一種屬於文本外部的「文學社會學」考察。第二部分從「文本的地理想像層面」耙梳兩位作家「原鄉書寫」背後的文學性,經由史地的探勘,配合文本的對照,再以「文化地理學」等相關論述為輔,去分析作家的創作策略與歷史背景。第三部分從「文本的歷史書寫層面」探析兩位作家在後期將書寫焦點逐漸靠向歷史題材的現象,作一「文學的歷史性」,以及「歷史的文學性」的雙重對照探究。

Song-fen Kuo and Yu Li were born in the Age of Modernism in Taiwan. They started to write as early as they were college students, but suspended since they joined the Defending Diao-yu-tai Movement in the year of 70s’. Both wrote again from the year of 80s’, and their creations have come into public notice since then. The creations they made after the year of 80s’ were worth paying attention to, because the forms of them reach the highest standard of Modern Aesthetics and meantime the contents usually imply the deep reflection of the nation. In other words, the fascinating wording and the profound content are quite matched in their works. There are three reasons why I put Kuo and Li in the same research. First, they are couples; second, they have different ethnic background; third, they have the same experience after the year of 70s’, such as studied abroad together, joined the Defending Diao-yu-tai Movement and returned to the field of literature. As a result, readers can find out their parallels and differences in their works at the same time. There are three parts in this thesis. In the first part, I try to investigate the interaction between the writers and the development of literature by comprehending writers’ life and thoughts. I use the theory of Sociology of Literature in this part. In the second part, I try to analyze the writers’ strategy of creating and the background when they created by comparing the text with the history thereat and using the theory of Culture Geography. In the third part, I present the writers’ inclination of focusing on the subject of history in a later period and discuss the relation between history and literature.
