摘要


本研究開發一套具有適應性之遊戲化函式庫。本函式庫利用CSA (Cumulative Sentence Analysis) 與PWB (Personal Word Bank) 兩套語言學習系統進行遊戲化函式庫應用之研究,其中CSA系統以英文閱讀為主而PWB以單字學習為重點。目的是將透過本研究之函式庫應用將二套語言系統進行遊戲化 (Gamification) 設計,俾使參與課程學生能以遊戲方式進行課程學習及課後複習與練習,以增進學習熱忱。 本研究採用PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)、MySQL、JavaScript、jQuery、Ajax、JSON等套件,進行適應性函式庫之遊戲化設計與開發。開發之函式庫具有將提供者教材產生具遊戲化及適應性之內容。適應性函式庫之遊戲化具有三個主要元素,分別為分數 (Point)、排行榜 (Leaderboards) 及獎章 (Badges)。本實驗結合CSA與PWB成為遊戲化教材之基礎,實驗結果除完成基本元素建置外,另具有課程流程控制 (Content Unlocking)、學習進度統計 (Progress Bar)、玩家生命值(Life Bar)、玩家等級(Level)等適應性函式庫設計。 本研究所開發之遊戲化函式庫,不僅可將不同教材導入而成為具有遊戲化之內容,同時能成為學生課後自我學習的平台,以提升使用者學習成效。

The goal of this study is to develop an adaptive gamification library. Two language learning systems are used in our gamification library study. These two systems, CSA (Cumulative Sentence Analysis) and PWB (Personal Work Bank), are existing learning systems for English reading and vocabulary building respectively. Our goal is to gamify these two systems by applying the gamification library designed and implemented in this research so as to have gamified learning systems where students are better motivated to proceed with course learning as well as after-class reviewing and practicing to improve their learning enthusiasm. Various web-building technologies, such as PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor), MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and JSON packages are utilized when designing and implementing our adaptable library. The developed library has the ability to gamify and adapt the contents of material. Our adaptable library of gamification has three main gaming elements: point, leaderboards and badges. This experiment combines CSA and PWB to be the basic of gamification teaching material. The experiment result not only completes the establishment of basic material, but also the design of adaptable library ,including content unlocking, progress bar, life bar and level, etc. The developed gamification library in this research can import different material to be gamified contents. Moreover, it can be the platform of after-school learning to improve the learning outcome.
