There are always distractions distracting people in daily life. However, they can be considered as self-examinations of different aspects. As far as “self-intimacy” is concerned in this paper, impersonal reverse observations, such as external objects and spatial status, are applied to weigh the feelings of users. When looking at an individual without considering his affective and behavioral implications, a “human being” becomes an object. It is not until the details of his responses are attended to that his spiritual status is considered. At this moment, the “body” as an object has been combined with the space where behaviors, perceptions and feelings are contained; and the intangible status in that moment that cannot be read immediately is everything. The intercourse between an individual and space is redefined in terms of individual existence interpreted through the spatial design of a library where objects (bookshelves) intertwine.
