薰香與按摩時間的長短對心率變異影響之研究

摘要


現今社會發展迅速,故現代人常為了滿足生活品質與物質需求,導致產生身體疼痛和情緒惡化的病徵。芳香療法藉由天然植物所提煉的精油,輔以按摩、泡澡、薰香方式,是大眾接受的一種身心紓壓的方式。穴位指壓是按摩療法一種,以結合按摩的知識以及中國傳統醫學針灸原理,有促進放鬆、解除呼吸困難,增加免疫力的功效。 本研究探討芳香療法與穴位指壓對人體的療效,主要測量工具為心率變異分析儀,實驗比較120分鐘連續長時間按摩或薰香,及15分鐘連續短時間按摩或薰香,另外比較累積每次15分鐘短時間按摩與連續120分鐘按摩的成效。 本研究結果顯示(一)長時間按摩比長時間薰香對改善副交感神經的效果比較好。但在改善交感神經與整體趨勢自律神經的效果上,兩者無差異。(二)短時間薰香比短時間按摩對改善自律神經(交感神經與副交感神經)的效果比較好。而對整體自律神經的改善無差異。(三)長時間按摩比短時間按摩對改善副交感神經的效果比較好。但在改善交感神經與整體自律神經的效果上,兩者無差異。(四)短時間薰香比長時間薰香對改善交感神經的效果比較好。表示薰香不能長時間聞太久,長時間薰香反而效果沒有更好。(五)連續按摩比累積按摩對改善副交感神經的效果比較好。但在改善交感神經的效果上,兩者無差異。而兩者對整體自律神經的改善也無差異。

Due to the rapid development in current society, people desire to meet their material needs for better life, resulting in deterioration of the physical pain and emotional symptoms. Aromatherapy through essential oils from natural plant, combined with massage, bubble bath, incense, is an acceptable way for relaxation. Acupressure massage, which combines massage and traditional acupuncture, can enhance relaxation, relieve dyspnea, and increase the effectiveness of the immune system. This study is to evaluate the effect of aromatherapy and acupressure massage on the human body. Using heart rate variability analyzer, comparisons of 120 minutes and 15 minutes durations by applying acupressure massage or aromatherapy were studied. Comparison of the accumulating 8 times 15-minute acupressure massage into 120 minutes and one time 120-minute acupressure massage were also evaluated. The results show (A) the 120 minutes acupressure massage is more effective than aromatherapy in improving the parasympathetic nerve; (B) the 15 minutes aromatherapy is more effective than acupressure massage in improving the autonomic nervous system (sympathetic and parasympathetic); (C) longer the acupressure massage duration, the better in improving the parasympathetic nerve; (D) shorter the aromatherapy duration, the better in improving the sympathetic nerve, indicating that people should avoid using essential oil for more than 2 hour duration; (E) cumulative massage is better than continuous massage in improving the parasympathetic nerve, this result also indicates that people should avoid applying massage for continuous long period.
