摘 要 本研究旨在探討台中市家長選擇學前教育機構考量因素之現況,及不同背景家長選擇考量之差異情形。根據上述目的,本研究採問卷調查法,以台中市幼稚園及托兒所的家長為調查對象。採分層抽樣方式,有效樣本計有636份,研究工具為研究者自編之「台中市家長選擇學前教育機構考量因素問卷」,研究結論如下: 一、家長選擇學前教育機構考量因素的現況,以「師資與環境設備因素」最受重視,而「教育場所因素」較不被重視。 二、不同身份家長在「師資與環境設備」有顯著差異。 三、不同職業家長在「政策與法令」、「師資與環境設備」與「整體園所內在因素」有顯著差異。 四、不同年齡家長在「師資與環境設備」有顯著差異。 五、不同教育程度家長在「費用因素」與「政策與法令」有顯著差異。 六、家長選擇學前教育機構考量「整體」園所外在因素與「整體」園所內在因素之間呈現顯著高度正相關。
Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing parents’ choice of preschool educational institutions in Taichung. The questionnaire was developed to achieve this purpose and given to the parents of the kindergartens and child care centers in Taichung. A total of 636 parents completed a questionnaire which contained 41 questions. The findings of this study were: (a) The “preschool teachers and educational facilities” and “classroom environment” were identified as the most important and the least important factors in influencing parental choice of preschool educational institutions respectively; (b) There were significant “caregiver identity” differences related to “preschool teachers and educational facilities”; (c) There were significant differences in “policy and law”, “preschool teachers and educational facilities”, and “internal factor of preschool educational institution” by “parental occupation”; (d) There were significant “parental age” differences related to “preschool teachers and educational facilities”; (e) There were signifnicant differences in “tuition fee”and “policy and law” by “parental level”; and (f) There was a significant strong relationshiop between “external factor of preschool educational institution” and “internal factor of preschool educational institution”.
