在職進修護理系學生的護理專業承諾與關懷行為之探討-以中部某科技大學為例

Relationship between the professional commitments and caring behaviors among the in-job nursing students -- An example from the University of Technology in central Taiwan.

摘要


本研究目的為探討在職進修護理系學生的護理專業承諾與關懷行為之相關影響因素。研究方法採横斷式相關性研究設計,邀請台灣中部某科技大學在職進修護理系學生共有204 位同學為研究對象,研究工具採用『護理專業承諾量表』、『關懷行為量表』結構式量表收集資料。所得資料以SPSS12.0 進行資料統計和分析,統計方法有描述性統計、獨立樣本t 檢定、皮爾森積差相關、斯皮爾曼等級相關、多因子變異數分析、逐步複迴歸等進行檢測。 研究結果:(1)關懷行為量表總分為0-84 分,在職進修護理系學生的關懷行為表現平均得分為61.67±13.89 分,屬於中等程度;(2)護理專業承諾量表得分範圍介於34-136 分,在職進修護理系學生的護理專業承諾平均得分為95.86±15.03,屬於中等程度;(3)年齡與關懷行為呈現顯著差異(F=58.36, p<.001);(4)婚姻狀況在關懷行為呈現顯著差異(F=48.09, p <.001);(5)該工作醫院評鑑之等級與關懷行為呈現顯著差異(F=23.78, p <.001);(6)總護理工作年資在關懷行為呈現顯著差異(F=61.71, p <.001);(7)個人宗教信仰在關懷行為方面呈現顯著差異(F=4.809, p <.01);(8)工作科別不同與關懷行為呈現顯著差異(F=2.36, p <.05);(9)學生的「護理課室課程的興趣程度」與關懷行為呈顯著正相關(rs=.298, p <.001);(10)學生的「臨床實習課程的興趣程度」與關懷行為亦呈顯著正相關(rs=.250, p <.001);(11)護理專業承諾與關懷行為呈現顯著正相關(r=.618, P<.001);(12)影響在職進修護理系學生關懷行為重要預測因子為未婚、醫學中心、工作年資、臨床實習課程的興趣、專業承諾,共四個變項,可解釋在職進修護理系學生關懷行為53.6%的變異量。 在職進修護理系學生的專業承諾愈高、總護理工作年資愈久、醫學中心、對臨床實習課程感興趣者,則關懷行為表現就越高。研究結果可提供教學參考,以針對在職進修護理系學生之護理專業承諾及關懷行為做進一步的課程安排設計及規劃,持續落實關懷為護理教育核心理念,也能讓護理界更瞭解影響護理人員專業承諾與關懷行為的相關因素,以裨提昇護理照顧品質。

The purpose of this research was to explore the in-job nursing students’ relationship between the nursing professional commitments and nursing students’ caring behaviors. This was a cross-sectional, and correlational research. A non-probability sample of 204 in-job nursing students in central Taiwan participated in this study. Well established instrument, including The Caring Behaviors Scale (CBS) and Professional Commitment of Nursing Scale, were used to collect the information. Descriptive statistics, Independent Samples t test, ANOVA, Pearson, Spearman correlation and stepwise regression were employed to analyze the data. The results indicated: (1) students reported above average caring behavior (M=61.67, SD=13.89). (2) students reported above average nursing commitment (M=95.86, SD=15.03). (3) ages and caring behaviors present significant differences (F=58.36, p <.001). (4) marital status appears significant difference on caring behaviors (F=48.09, p<.001). (5) level of the hospital certification shows significant difference on caring behaviors (F=23.78, p<.001). (6) the total working years of nursing had statistically significant influence on caring behaviors (F=61.71, p<.001). (7) individual religion present significant differences on caring behaviors (F=4.809, p <.01). (8) Different working units reveal statistically significant influence on caring behaviors (F=2.36, p <.05). (9) Students'' interest in the nursing curriculum had a positive correlation with the caring behaviors (rs=.298, p<.001). (10) Students'' interest in the clinical practices and concerned was positively correlated with the their caring behaviors (rs=.250, p<.001). (11) The nursing professional commitment had a significant correlation with the caring behaviors (r=.618, p<.001). (12) The predicators of caring behavior in the students were unmarried, medical center, the total working year of nursing, interested in the clinical practices, and nursing commitment ( R2 = 53.6%). In conclusion, the nursing students who have higher level of nursing commitment, longer total working years of nursing, medical center, and higher interested in the clinical practices, their performance of caring behavior are more noticeable. Therefore, the finding may assist nursing managements and teachers to design and develop caring and nursing commitment related courses and strategies to ensure core conception of nursing educational. Furthermore, the results in this study provide nursing staff to understand that the related factors of nursing commitment and caring behaviors in nurses’, in order to increase the quality of nursing in the health institution.
