The purposes of this study were to understand: 1). the ranking of selection factors and class satisfaction; 2). the significant differences of demographics on different selection factors and class satisfaction, and 3). the relationship between selection factor and class satisfaction in terms of students in Ling Tung College who selected billiard class under interest grouping. A total of 340 questionnaires were distributed to students during the billiard classes and 315 were valid, which corresponded with a 92.65% of return rate. The gathered data were analyzed according to the needs of research purpose by using frequency, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, factor analysis and canonical correlation. After the analysis of the collected data, conclusions relating to selection factor for billiard class and student satisfaction were obtained. Along with the findings of this study, several suggestions have been made for teachers teaching billiard.
