中老年人從事元極舞運動之運動強度與能量消耗研究

The Exercise Intensity and Energy Expenditure of the Middle-Aged and the Elders Engaged in the Yuanji Dance

摘要


目的:本研究目的在探討中老年人從事元極舞運動之運動強度與能量消耗。方法:受試者為17名中老年人,皆為女性,平均年齡為57.7±7.9歲、平均身高為154.41±5.17公分、平均體重為60.1±7.1公斤、BMI為25.2±2.6。實驗設計是以受試者從事元極舞第三集,記錄運動過程的攝氧量與呼吸商,然後與最大攝氧量作比較並推算出運動強度和能量消耗。資料處理:將所得的資料以Excel 2000進行運算。結果:受試者在從事元極舞實地測試之後,分析其在攝氧量與能量消耗的情形。在攝氧量方面為12.10±1.69ml/min/kg,在能量消耗方面為0.058kcal/kg/min;而最大攝氧量的值為25.96±5.12ml/min/kg,所以運動強度為48.0±9.3%VO2max。結論:元極舞運動是屬於中低強度的運動,很適合中老年人,是值得推薦的運動。

The purpose of this study was to examine the exercise intensity and energy expenditure of the middle-aged and the elders engaged in the Yuan-ji dance. The participants were 17 female volunteers, age 57.7±7.9 years old, height 154.41±5.17cm, weight 60.1±7.1kg, Body Mass Index (BMI) 25.2±2.6. The oxygen uptake and the respiratory quotient of the participants who did the Yuan-ji dance Part Ⅲ were recorded with K4B^2, and the statistics were compared with the maximal oxygen uptake and then their exercise intensity and energy expenditure were calculated. The data were processed with Excel 2000. After the oxygen uptake and energy expenditure of participants who did the Yuan-ji dance Part Ⅲ were analyzed. It was found that the average oxygen uptake was 12.10±1.69m1/min/kg, the average energy expenditure was 0.058kcal/kg/min and the maximal oxygen uptake of participants was 25.96±5.12 ml/min/kg. This study concluded that Yuan-ji dance was a low-middle intensity exercise; therefore, it is recommended for the middle-aged and the elders to practice the Yuan-ji dance.
