高職學生之目標取向對學習策略與學習成就之關係研究

Effects' of Vocation High School Students' Goal Orientation on Learning Strategies and Academic Achievement

摘要


本研究旨在探討成就目標取向對高職學生在「學習與讀書策略」和學習成就之關係。研究對象取自台中縣、彰化縣與雲林縣之高職學生共六百四十三人。研究的結果顯示以學習為目標取向(高學習/低表現)之學生在學習態度、學習動機、專心、閱讀考試、時間管理與自我測驗、訊息處理與解決學習困難等策略上均優於以表現為目標取向(低學習/高表現)之學生,且焦慮的程度也較少。另外,男生在訊息處理與解決困難等策略均比女生有良好表現,且焦慮的程度也較少。而在不同類科(工業類科、商業類科、農業類科與家事類科)的比較上,工業類科之學生在訊息處理上顯著比農業類科之學生善於應用意義化及組織的策略;此外,工業類科之學生與商業類科之學生在解決困難上均顯著較農業類科之學生善於尋求問題的資源。在學習成就的差異,持高學習/高表現與持高學習/低表現學生均優於持低學習/低表現之學生。進一步比較本研究高職生和「學習與讀書策略」量表之高職生常模間差異,結果顯示本研究之高職生是屬於「學習策略不好」。因此,研究者建議高職教師在教學時多強調學習本身的意義、歷程與精熟,並培養學生自我評量及「學習如何學習」等知能與技能。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of vocation high school students' goal orientation on learning strategies and academic achievement. Six hundred forty-three vocation high school students from central part of Taiwan participated in this study. The results of this study showed students with learning goal orientation tended to use better learning strategies than students with performance goal orientation. In addition, male students used more information processing strategies and showed less anxious than female students did. And students with the major of industry did better in information processing strategies and problem solving strategies than students with the major of agriculture. On the other aspect, students with learning goal orientation had better academic achievement. Further, students in this study showed using less well strategies in leaning when compared with norm's data. Based on these results, there are some suggestions for teaching. It should stress on the meaningful learning, processing. and mastery. In addition, it is important to teach students the knowledge or skills of ”learning to learn”.
