摘要

休閒文化生活在長期經濟發展之後，為當前各國邁入二十一世紀後重視的項目。如何提升精神文化的品質，健全文化設施建設與推動藝文活動的發展，是都市規劃和休閒藝文活動發展的重要課題之一。本文以新竹市為研究範圍，從活動參與需求行為的角度探討一般民眾在休閒時間參與藝文活動的時間、活動偏好類型，及參與獲取價值改變對參與成本、空間範圍的邊際影響等，作為提出都市藝文活動與設施規劃策略建議的參考。

After a long period of rapid economic development, cultural recreation have become a key social issue for the further transformation of countries in the 21th century. Constructing the cultural facilities and developing cultural activities are necessary for promoting the quality of the human's spirit and have become important issues in urban planning. It is precisely for this reason that the paper purports to participant behavior of cultural activities in terms of time, desire, and cost in the case of Hsin-chu city in Taiwan. The utility function of cultural activities are constructed and analyzed in the paper. The policy implications and strategies for cultural activities and facilities planning in urban planning are also discussed.
