This paper concentrates on the relationship between three supply chain structures and their value-added strategy application. The upstream convergent supply chain is suitable for the technical, design and logistics collaboration/cooperation and yet globalization would not be the first priority for this structure type. The midstream disperse supply chain could globally source to accomplish the volatile market demands. However, due to the diversion property of accessing market for the downstream divergent type, the companies at the downstream could best start with the strategy of sharing information with the upstream partners.
