摘要

使用者導向的設計概念，是強調對設計師而言，滿足使用者多變的需求是必要的。因此，融入使用者意見將成為產品開發過程中關鍵的因素，但企業欠缺有效的方法與設計師缺乏實務上的訓練，導致無法確切被實施。樓梯是居住空間比較危險且容易發生意外事故的場所，特別是對高齡者或行動不便者而言，樓梯空間開發時若能輔以設計創新方法與流程的導入，來符合人們的使用經驗及內心所需，將更能提高使用滿意度與安全性。要瞭解樓梯空間使用者的行為與心理，很難由傳統的市場調查方法去發掘，最好的方式是從互動中瞭解他們。同感設計是一種新的市場研究技術，強調站在使用者的立場，透過細微觀察和用心認知，發掘對使用者真正有益處的需求。本研究透過同感設計方法進行實作，主要程序為參與觀察描述使用者行為現象、階梯訪談獲得資料、蘊含矩陣協助思考和分析、階層價值圖進行集體研討解答和心智圖法發展可能解答的原型等步驟，幫助設計師能在樓梯空間需求上與各類使用者取得共識，以創新及改良居家樓梯。研究主要貢獻為回應使用者各方面需要，提出優良樓梯空間的設計方針與概念原型，期望能對居家生活品質有所助益。

User-oriented design concept, designers emphasize on meeting the changeable needs of users. Therefore, using the users' feedback during the product development process is a key factor for development. However, the lack of effective methods of companies and training practices of designers may hinder the process. Stairs are dangerous in living spaces, especially where the elderly or less mobile are concerned. When developing a stair design, we are the lead in innovative methods and processes to meet the user's experience; it will improve users' satisfaction and safety. It is difficult to discover from the traditional marketing research methods users' response to using stairs. The best way is to learn from interactions. Empathic design is a new technical marketing research. It emphasizes the users' point of view to explore real benefits for the users' needs through careful observation and cognitive intentions. This study is conducted by Empathic design. The main program if Participant Observation describes the phenomenon of users' behaviors. The information from Laddering Interviews contains the Implication Matrix to assist the thinking and analysis. Hierarchical Value Maps are brainstorming solutions and Mind Mapping is the possible answers to the prototype development and other steps to help the designers to reach an agreement with the various users on the stairs space requirements. We hope to transform home stairs for the better. The essential contribution of this research is to respond to the various needs of users and put forward a concept for prototype and design guidelines of good stair space. In the end, we hope to improve the quality of living space.
