正念禪修是一種針對日常生活中思想、意識狀態的心理訓練方法,特別在過去20年間對基於正念的療法如何改善人類健康和福祉的研究大幅增長,本文綜述了目前正念禪修對免疫系統影響的共10篇,其中系統分析綜述1篇,隨機對照試驗(RCTs)9篇,歸納出正念禪修對免疫系統的免疫細胞衰老與數量以及炎症減少等幾個方面的影響,正念禪修則能明顯提升免疫力,延緩端粒老化的速度,甚至還能恢復端粒長度。此外炎症亦是人類諸多疾病的起因,包括心臟、血管疾病、糖尿病及老年癡呆症等,正念禪修與炎症的減少也是增加免疫力的重要影響因素。目前研究表明正念禪修對人體免疫系統確有提升,尤其是對免疫細胞衰老、免疫細胞數量的增加以及炎症的減少,然而其中所涉及的生物機制尚待進一步深入研究。
Mindfulness meditation is a psychological training method of cultivating thoughts and states of awareness. In the past 20 years, mindfulness study of how to improve human health and well-being has made significant progress in terms of research and daily practice among people around the world. This review covers 10 most recent publications on the effects of mindfulness meditation on the immune systems. Mindfulness meditation can significantly enhance senescence and quantity of immune cells, delay the rate of telomere aging, and restore telomere length and reduction of inflammation. Although the mindfulness meditation shows health benefits in many diseases areas such as cardiovascular, diabetics, and Alzheimer's, the biological mechanisms involved are still not fully understood and further research including big data analysis is needed.
