轉爐石添加比例對密級配瀝青混凝土之研究

Research on Effect of BOF to Dense-Graded Asphalt Concrete Ratio on Product Performance

摘要


國內外的許多研究結果皆證實轉爐石添加於改質瀝青混凝土能夠改善鋪面的績效,且近年來政府提倡循環經濟的理念,若能以轉爐石(Basic-Oxygen-Furnace Slag,BOF)取代部分天然砂石,不僅可解決目前台灣天然資源匱乏問題,更能促進工業副產品的資源再利用並達到資源零廢棄。本研究採用改質Ⅲ型瀝青膠泥及轉爐石作為研究材料,以添加不同比例轉爐石於密級配瀝青混凝土(Dense-Graded Asphalt Concrete,DGAC),以馬歇爾力學試驗求出各比例於不同級配之最佳含油量,以其含油量製作試體進行穩定值、間接張力、滯留強度及浸水剝脫等試驗,評估各比例轉爐石添加於密級配之力學性質變化。經研究結果顯示,隨著轉爐石添加比例上升,會使力學績效變佳。

Many studies confirmed that adding Basic- Oxygen-Furnace Slag (BOF) to modified asphalt concrete improved the performance of pavement. If we can replace some natural aggregate with BOF, we can not only alleviate the shortage of natural resources, but also promote the reuse of industrial byproducts. In this study, we used BOF and modified type III asphalt to study the effect of different proportions of BOF to Dense-Graded Asphalt Concrete (DGAC) on pavement performance. The Marshall mechanical test was used to determine the optimal asphalt content of each proportions. We determined the stability, indirect tension, retention strength, and immersion stripping of the products to evaluate the effect of BOF ratio. Results showed that increasing the proportion of BOF, improved the mechanical performance.
