超高強度鋼板關鍵控冷技術開發

Development of Plate Cooling Technology for Ultra-high Strength Steel

摘要


中鋼鋼板工場為台灣唯一之鋼板產線,但近年來受到控冷製程能力不足的限制,在超高強度產品開發及既有產品品質的改善工作上,都遭遇到了極大的瓶頸。在此環境下,鋼板工場展開了冷卻設備更新案,並期望能透過硬體能力的提升,突破上述困境。然而,面對新式控冷設備的安裝與調機,集團內並無類似經驗可供參考,先進鋼廠亦將超高強度鋼板的開發作業列為機密。因此亟需展開對應之研究工作,自行發展相關技術。為達成上述方針目標,本研究應用電控技術開發,成功將新舊設備整合為冷卻能力更高更均勻的的新冷卻系統。此外,為使新系統發揮最大效益,研究工作透過電腦模擬方式,掌握冷卻路徑與板形控制技術,並將分析結果應用於線上控制系統中。研究成果現已應用於8種新開發之高價淬火產品的生產作業,並有效改善了既有產品在殘留應力,及機性分布上所面臨的品質問題。其中耐磨鋼板的開發成功,更是改寫此類產品過去國內僅能倚賴進口之生態,對公司及台灣產業環境都提供了具體之貢獻。

To meet the demand for ultra-high strength steel from customers, China Steel Corporation (CSC), the only one hot rolled steel plate producer in TAIWAN, had revamped accelerated cooling facility in the plate mill, with the aim to increase cooling rate and temperature accuracy for the required steel grade. New cooling headers were installed upstream to the existing laminar cooling headers. Thanks to the effective integration of associated automation systems, the upgraded cooling system can utilize both type of header at the same time and successfully extend CSC’s plate producing technology into direct quenching standard. Eight products based on martensitic microstructures were successfully produced with the new cooling system. The successful development of abrasion-resistant steel greatly contributed to both CSC market share and local steel industry. The new cooling system also improved the quality of existing TMCP products. It was demonstrated that by proper adjustment of flow actuators, the upgraded cooling system notably improved the uniform properties and lessened plate distortion.
