摘要

台灣近來在工業化的過程中，整個生態體系已遭受不少的挑戰，環境的污染與破壞事件時有所聞，而人們也已漸漸地對此一問題予以更多關注。在此迫切需要有關生態體系經營技術的引進的時候，本文旨在對美國賓夕法尼亞大學地景建築及區域規劃研究所所提出之生態規劃方法，就其産生之時空背景、建立過程、理論基礎及運作方法作一簡單介紹，並舉一簡化的例子來做實際演練的說明，期使生態規劃的觀念及技術能逐漸地被引進，並一步步在我們的規劃作業中生根成長。

The ecological system of Taiwan has encountered quite a few challenges in the process of industrialization instances of environmental pollution and destruction have emerged from time to time and the problem is gradually receiving more attention from the general public than before in this time of pressing need for introducing the management of ecological system, tot main purpose of the present paper is to introduce methods for ecological planning advocated by the Graduate School of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning in University of Pennsylvania The paper will be concerned with the context within which related studies were first initiated, the process of development, the theoretical basis, and the implementation of the methods A simplified example will be adopted here to illustrate the actual working of the various methods involved It is hoped that the concept and techniques of ecological planning can be gradually Introduced into the country and become further rooted in our planning exercises.
