離岸風機塔架塗裝系統耐蝕性評估

Corrosion Evaluation of Coating for Off Shore Wind Turbine Tower

摘要


本文研究以底漆為富鋅底漆、鋅鋁與鋁熔射、環氧樹脂防蝕漆等離岸風立發電機塔架塗裝裝系統。依據ISO 12944、NORSOK M501的試驗方法進行測試。研究結果顯示;各塗裝系統皆可符合ISO 12944的要求,如要呼應台電相當於40年海上大氣環境的曝露量的試驗,以耐蝕底漆高膜厚塗裝的為佳,鋅粉底漆塗裝系統次之,鋅鋁與鋁熔射塗裝系統,可能因為常濕的鹽霧環境,熔射金屬層在氯離子的環境中無法建立鈍化態,溶解較快,導致它上面的塗膜反而剝離較大,但它的銹水顏色是白色的,腐蝕應只在熔射層。鋅鋁與鋁熔射塗裝系統可符合NORSOK M501老化試驗的要求,耐蝕底漆高膜厚塗裝同時符合NORSOK M501海水浸泡、陰極防蝕塗膜試驗。鋅鋁與鋁熔射金屬層可能是該陰極防蝕保護電位是針對鋼鐵的,而不是對鋅鋁/鋁熔射層的,鋅、鋁較活潑,對曝露的鋅鋁/鋁熔射層保護不足,影響到陰極防蝕塗膜塗膜附著的表現。

In this paper, the off shore wind turbine tower coating systems had been evaluated. The coatings include Zn-rich primer, Zn-Al and Al thermal spray, epoxy resin anti-corrosion primer. ISO 12944, NORSOK M501 test standards were followed. The results showed that all the coating systems could meet the requirements of ISO 12944. For Tai-power expectation of 40-years off shore atmospheric exposure, the anti-corrosion primer with heavier film thickness was recommended, Zn-rich primer coating performed secondly. The Zn-Al and Al thermal spray metal layers failed to establish a passive state in chloride ions contained wet salt spray condition. The dissolutions of the thermal spray coatings were faster than the other coatings, which resulted in a wider coating peeling length. However, the rust formed on the thermal spray metal layers was in red color, which indicates that the corrosion was only happened on the coating. Zn-Al and Al coating system could meet the requirements of aging test of NORSOK M501. The corrosion-resistant primer with heavier film thickness coating performed well in seawater immersion and cathodic corrosion coating test of NORSOK M501. Due to the cathodic corrosion protection potential had been designed for steel corrosion immunity, the Zn-Al and Al coating systems were found having a poor performance in the cathode corrosion coating test. It has been known that Zn-Al and Al coating are active materials, therefore the protection of exposed Zn-Al and Al layers should be insufficient for cathodic protection for wind turbine underwater structure.
