墨辯中的認識與語言

Cognition and Language in Mo Pien

摘要


本論文主要以〈墨辯〉的文本資料為依據,嘗試從認識與語言問題的角度,對墨家認識論研究的「三表法進路」與「墨辯進路」加以整合,重新探討墨家認識論中有關心知、感知而告知、行知的種種重要見解。全文概分三部分:一、前言-兩條研究《墨子》認識論進路的考察:全面反省兩條研究進路的要點,並歸納出四點特徵。二、本論-墨辯中有關認知與語言的認識論研究,共分為四段:(一)「有關討論墨家認識論性質的幾點說明」,表明本文討論的立場與觀點;(二)「認識活動的指名與認識條件的重構」,尋繹出墨辯對認識活動與認識結構的解釋:細分為兩節,1.對「知材」可用活動的認識特性說明,2.能指之「知」與所指知「智(智)」的再辨析與陳示的要求;(三)「從思維認知到語言認知與命題化表述」,禪述墨辯之中如何將心知的內容,以語言的表述方式轉換為命題化立辭的過程:下分三節,1.外物、感覺與心知,2.間接認知-語言的告知,3.從語言到命題化立辭的知識建構方法論;(四)「從行動中的認知」:分析並說明人再情境中所認知的行動意向與權取行為的重要內容。三、結論:對墨家認識論的再檢討:反省並提出禪述過程中所遭遇的困難,並總結前文,叢要說明本文的重要研究成果。

From the viewpoint of cognition and language, this paper united the approach of SanPiaoFa (三表法) and Mo Pien tries to reexamine some important topics in the Mo Tzu's epistemology which includes the acquaintance to be aware, the acquaintance of sense-perception, the acquaintance by speech and in action. This paper is divided into three parts: 1.Preface: to compare two approach of Mo Tzu's epistemology and to sum up four distinguishing features. 2.Content: the epistemological study on the cognition and language in Mo Pien divided into four sections: Ⅰ. discussing the characters of Mo Tzu's epistemology; Ⅱ. to show the process of cognition, restructures of the conditions about cognition, trying to explain the structure of cognition; Ⅲ. from the acquaintance by thinking to known by speech and proposition ”litzu”; Ⅳ. the acquaintance in action to analysis and to interpret the action intentionality and the ”Chyuan Chu” 3. Conclusion: to review and criticize the MoTzu's epistemology as well as to elucidate the difficulties in this study.
